Lake Superior Performance Rally

Rally has deep roots in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan going by 70 years. In 1949 a Time-Speed-Distance rally called Press on Regardless started up and in 1969, became a stage rally event. For the 1973 and 1974 seasons, POR was a round of the World Rally Championship. In 1994, the very first Lake Superior Performance Rally was founded as POR returned to its TSD roots.

For decades, LSPR has been the ultimate round on the American rally circuit, the final event of the rally season. Traditionally held in October, fall foliage provides a colorful backdrop to the rally's gravel stages. Based in Marquette, Michigan, LSPR is a world-renowned event and a favorite for many and features a stage at Marquette Mountain Resort that goes all around the ski hill to lets fans get close to the action. The weather provides an interesting variable too; sunshine, rain, and snow are all possibilities at this dynamic event.
