The Mike Nagle RallySprint returns for 2026! As last year’s ARA Steward put it, “Mike Nagle is a RallySprint in name only.” We’re running the same road as before, but changing things up by running it in the reverse direction. Additionally, we’re moving to a 2 day format with Recce and Tech on Saturday and racing on Sunday. Although we won’t be racing into the night, finishing the day earlier should be a benefit for both competitors and volunteers.

 

The event is based in Columbia County, just 45 minutes northwest of Portland in an area that OTR historians remember well. For lodging, there are several campgrounds and hotels in the area. Although not part of the western regional championship, it is a California Rally Series Coefficient 2 point scoring event.

 

To kick things off with a Parc Expose in historic downtown St. Helens for the locals. It was a big hit last

year, and local leaders are excited to have us back. The road surface is hard packed gravel, and at 39 miles, Mike Nagle is longer than

most RallySprint events. The more relaxed atmosphere of the RallySprint is perfect for testing, learning, or just wanting to have a good time in the woods. It’s also an opportunity for us to gain new volunteers, for previous volunteers to learn new skills,

and most of all provide an environment where everyone has fun. We won’t have any spectator areas, so if your friends or family want to see the action, please have them sign up to volunteer, we'd love their help!
