American Rally Association Announces 2018 Maxxis Tires Contingency Program

Speedway, IN (March 14, 2018)

Officials with the American Rally Association (ARA) announced today an agreement with Maxxis Tires regarding an expanded Contingency Sponsorship Program for both Regional and National Rally Teams competing in the 2018 ARA National Championship Series.

The 2018 Maxxis Tires Contingency Program will be available to all ARA Regional and National Rally teams who register in advance of their first ARA National Rally of the year and run Maxxis Victra R-19 Rally Tires on their rally cars in 2018. Participants in the program will be eligible to receive free Maxxis tires based on their performance in class at ARA National events.

“We’re excited to be joining the American Rally Association as an official marketing partner through participation in ARA’s expanded Contingency Sponsor Program for 2018,” said Ritchie Tay of Maxxis Tires. “Because Maxxis has been supporting rally teams for many years, this was a logical move for the Maxxis Tire brand. We very much look forward to working with ARA as well as their Regional and National Rally teams in 2018.”

The 2018 Maxxis Tire Contingency Program will recognize first, second, third, and fourth place finishers in all five classes of ARA National and Regional competitors at all seven ARA National Rally events in 2018. Any team competing in vehicles driving on Maxxis Victra R-19 Rally Tires with proof of purchase from an authorized retailer is eligible to register for the program.

Maxxis will be awarding up to 10 Maxxis Victra R-19 Rally Tires per class, per event. Prizes are ranked based on finishing position in class - First in class will receive a full set of 4 Maxxis Victra R-19 Rally Tires, while second in Class will receive 3 tires, Third will earn 2, and Fourth 1. National and Regional classes must have a minimum of five (5) entries to qualify for participation in the 2018 Maxxis Tires Contingency Program.

“We’re pleased to welcome Maxxis Tires to ARA’s 2018 Contingency Program,” said Paul Giblin, National Brand Manager for the American Rally Association. “The folks at Maxxis have developed an extremely generous Contingency Program for 2018 that will go a long way in supporting both Regional and National rally teams competing in the 2018 ARA National Championship Series.”
