American Rally Association Welcomes Hoosier Tires to Expanding Contingency Program

Speedway, IN (April 2, 2018)

Officials with the American Rally Association (ARA) announced today that Hoosier Tire has joined their expanding Contingency Sponsorship Program for both Regional and National Rally Teams competing in the ARA National Championship Series in 2018.

The Hoosier Tire Contingency Program will be available to all ARA Regional and National Rally Teams who register in advance of their first 2018 ARA Regional or National Rally of the year and run Hoosier Gravel Rally tires on their rally cars. The program will recognize first, second, third, and fourth place finishers in all five classes of ARA National and Regional competitors at all seven ARA National Rally events in 2018.

“We are very excited to partner with ARA and offer this great contingency program,” said Hoosier Tire Product Manager Tim Gilvin. “This continues to build upon our longstanding relationship with USAC and we look forward to a great season of racing with the American Rally Association.”

Any team competing in vehicles with Hoosier Gravel Rally Tires on all four corners of their rally car, along with proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is eligible to register for the Hoosier Contingency Program.

Hoosier will be awarding prizes based on finishing results in class - first in class will receive a full set of 4 Hoosier Gravel Rally tires, while second in class will receive 3 tires, third place will earn 2 tires, and fourth in class will earn 1 tire. National and Regional classes must have a combined minimum of five (5) entries per class to qualify for participation in the 2018 Hoosier Contingency Program. If an ARA National Rally event weekend also hosts multiple Regional Rally events, the overall results from each Regional Rally run that weekend will be combined to determine placement for Hoosier Contingency Program prizes.

“We’re very excited to welcome Hoosier to the American Rally Association’s Contingency Program for 2018,” said Paul Giblin, ARA National Brand Manager. “As everyone knows, Hoosier has a long history of success in the world of racing. Having Hoosier participate in our ever-expanding Contingency Program in support of both Regional and National level rally teams at all seven of our National Championship Series events in 2018 is a great opportunity for not only the sport of Stage Rally, it’s a great opportunity for ARA rally teams as well.”
