BURLINGTON, Vt., June 6, 2025 – The American Rally Association (ARA)—the largest rally series in the United States and the country’s only national championship for the sport of stage rally—continues to attract top-level teams and talent from around the globe as multi-time World Rally Championship 2 (WRC2) title-winning team 2C Competition today announced its return to American Rally.

Based in Thiers, Puy-de-DômeFrance, 2C Competition will field a Rally2-class Skoda Fabia for rising rally star Conner Martell, making their debut in the 2025 ARA National Championship Presented by Kubota at the upcoming Southern Ohio Forest Rally (SOFR) in Chillicothe, Ohio, June 12-14.

“ARA welcomes 2C Competition back to American rally,” said Preston Osborn, ARA Series Manager. “Having scored second place in our series back in 2022 with Ken Block at the wheel, their return continues the ongoing expansion of our Rally2 field, bolstering what is the global standard for top-tier national rally competition around the world. And with their rental program,

there’s the promise of even more growth, making modern, high-spec Rally2 machinery easily accessible to drivers interested in American Rally, wherever they may hail from.”

2C Competition’s rally record includes back-to-back WRC2 Team Championships (2020 & 2021), a WRC2 Driver title (2019), and multiple national rally titles in France and Belgium. The team fielded a Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC for Block and co-driver Alex Gelsomino, finishing second overall in the drivers’ championship.

In making the switch to the 2C-entered, Michelin-shod Skoda, Martell is parking the Kubota Tractor-sponsored 2015 Subaru WRX STI with which he has scored six straight podiums in ARA’s Open 4WD class this year, his first full season of national rally competition. Originally from Vermont, Martell started in rallycross, winning the 2018 ARX2 Championship, and went on to race in the top-tier Group E electric class in Nitrocross.
